Frequently asked questions
Why use HealthCore?
Training should be friendly, confidence-building, and practical.
Our sessions are hands-on, scenario-based, and taught in plain English. We prioritize practice over slides, using industry-leading simulation equipment (from Laerdal and Practiman) to ensure realism.
We keep the atmosphere relaxed and supportive, ensuring every candidate leaves feeling ready to act when it counts.
As a nurse-led provider based in the East Midlands, we set a higher standard for safety training.
Your course will be delivered exclusively by Registered Healthcare Professionals with current NHS clinical experience. We bridge the gap between theory and reality, giving you the confidence that comes from learning from those who save lives for a living.
Don't settle for tick-box training when lives depend on it.
Who is our Leadership and Management for Nurses course for?
This course suits registered nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals ready for bigger leadership roles - think Band 5 to 6, or Band 6 to 7. It helps you get comfortable with team management, tricky conversations, delegation, and polishing your CV for the next step up. You'll also pick up practical ways to lead confidently, look after your staff's wellbeing, and keep safety front and centre.
What is the course structure?
We don't believe in death by PowerPoint. All our sessions are interactive and will be more of a group discussion and learning than us telling you what you should and shouldn't do. The session involves some simulation so be prepared to be challenged.
Is Leadership and Management for Nurses accredited training?
Although not officially accredited, our course is designed to impart practical skills and advice - helping you step up as a leader with confidence and make a real difference. Plus, you will be able to earn CPD and contributory Revalidation hours with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Can you deliver Leadership and Management for Nurses training at my organisation?
Yes. For groups of 6 or more, we can deliver this training at your premises. Ideal for Universities or NHS Organisations, we can empower your students or staff to lead with a positive attitude and culture.
