The Tiny Hearts Life-Saving Skills for Parents Leicester is perfect for parents, grandparents and carers who want to feel prepared to handle emergencies and first aid with babies and children. It’s also great for anyone looking after a little one - whether you’re expecting your first child or just want to brush up on your skills. 

The session is relaxed, supportive and hands-on, helping you gain confidence in those important first moments before professional help arrives. 

We understand that childcare can be tough, so we welcome newborns and children under one.

Our Leicester training venues are typically selected on the northern side of the city, making them easier to access from Nottingham via the M1, A46, A6 and A607. These locations are often more convenient for attendees travelling from around Glenfield Hospital, Leicester General Hospital, Birstall and Thurmaston, and they can also work well for those arriving by bus or rail into Leicester before making a short onward journey. We always look for venues with good car parking and sensible road links rather than expensive city-centre venues, so the day starts smoothly and costs stay as reasonable as possible.

Full venue details and arrival instructions are normally sent around 14 days before your course.

We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (like trousers and a t-shirt) and flat shoes. Our training involves active clinical simulation and practical skills, such as CPR and recovery positions, so you will need to move around freely and kneel on the floor.
