What our learners say

"Absolutely incredible! A must-do for parents ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is honestly one of the best courses I have ever taken! Hayley and Matt were absolutely amazing throughout. They are both so warm, incredibly patient, and it is so clear that they are top-tier nurses who really know their stuff. They made everyone feel completely at ease. Thank you both so much for everything. I am already recommending this to every single parent I know!"

"CPR, only seen on TV Previously, and was totally different in practice. Hopefully never have to use, but good to know, and good to have slides afterwards."
Angela • Jan 2026
"The trainers were particularly easy to engage with and well prepared. Loved the practical part of trying the steps out on the dolls and especially learning how to use the defibrillator. Really enjoyed the session."

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the TinyHearts Baby & Child First Aid for?
The Tiny Hearts Life-Saving Skills for Parents the East Midlands is perfect for parents, grandparents and carers who want to feel prepared to handle emergencies and first aid with babies and children. It’s also great for anyone looking after a little one - whether you’re expecting your first child or just want to brush up on your skills. The session is relaxed, supportive and hands-on, helping you gain confidence in those important first moments before professional help arrives. We understand that childcare can be tough, so we welcome newborns and children under one.
Where in the East Midlands is the training held?

We run public courses across the East Midlands, usually just outside the main city centres rather than in expensive inner-city rooms. When we choose a venue we look for free or low-cost parking, a room the right size for the group, easy road access from the M1 and the main A-roads, and somewhere you can reach by bus or tram where that helps. Exact venue details and arrival instructions are sent about two weeks before your TinyHearts Baby & Child First Aid course, once numbers are confirmed and we have locked in the right site for that date.

What should I wear for the session?
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (like trousers and a t-shirt) and flat shoes. Our training involves active clinical simulation and practical skills, such as CPR and recovery positions, so you will need to move around freely and kneel on the floor.
Are children welcome at the session?
We understand that arranging childcare can be stressful and that you often want to keep your baby close. Please don't let that stop you from attending TinyHearts - we are more than happy to welcome little ones under the age of one to this session.
Can you deliver TinyHearts Baby & Child First Aid for my club or organisation?
We would be delighted to work with your the East Midlands based organisation. Please use the “Get a quote” function above to contact us with as much information as possible. All our instructors are healthcare professionals with enhanced criminal records checks.
Is TinyHearts accredited first aid training?

The TinyHearts programme is accredited by the The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) and more commonly known as First Aid for Parents and Carers. It is also aligned with guidelines from the Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK), The Children's Burns Trust and the UK Sepsis Trust.
